Oklahoma City man kills himself playing Russian roulette, police say

A man died Monday night after shooting himself in the throat during a game of Russian roulette, police said.

The man, 18, was home with his 14-year-old brother when he fired one bullet beneath his chin about 4:50 p.m., Oklahoma City police Lt. Jeff Cooper said.

The man was taken to a local hospital where he died, Cooper said.

Cooper said a revolver fired the fatal shot, but did not say who owns the firearm.

The 14-year-old said the older brother placed the gun to his throat and fired the shot, Cooper said.
